Kaylie's work in Kenya is focused on art - teaching it, promoting it, connecting artists with each other.  Naturally, while we were there we met many artists.  There seems to be a much higher percentage of people in Kenya who are trying to earn a living by their craft than in the United States.  And you can imagine that the market for the beautiful things they make is not the greatest in a country where so many live in poverty.  If they could connect to the market in the States, it would make a tremendous difference to them.  Meet some of the artists:

We brought back some amazing jewelry made by these artists.  Lots of people have seen the jewelry and asked how they can order some.  I thought it would be great to have a place where people could see what's been made and get ideas for pieces they would like to order.  Here are some finished pieces and everything can be custom done, as well, as each piece is created especially for you.

Fully beaded necklaces are $25.  Necklaces with fewer beads are $17.  Earrings are $5.  Bracelets and anklets are $10.  Shipping is an additional cost, but we will try to do a group shipment to save as much as possible.  Please email if you'd like more information.
